In my checkout process, I'm allowing users to customize each product in their order.
From everything I've gathered, most of the info about the order itself is stored in dtb_order and then the information about each specific product in that order is passed off to dtb_order_detail.
What is the most efficient way to add new custom info to each product? Should I just add the appropriate fields to the dtb_order_detail table in MySQL and then push values to them during the order process? Or is there a better function built into EC Cube that can help me implement this? Or a different approach entirely that I'm overlooking?
